🔼 Big Competition. Former Kentucky men’s golfers Jack Schoenberger and J.B. Holmes are both in the field for the 126th U.S. Open! The event is at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club and runs until Sunday. Both Schoenberger and Holmes reached the U.S. Open through qualifying. Schoenberger worked his way through both local and final qualifying to earn a bid to his first ever major championship, while Holmes advanced through final qualifying in Westerville, Ohio to secure a spot in his first major since 2019.

🔼 One of Ten. Men’s tennis player Eli Stephenson has been named one of the ten qualifiers for the 2026 International Tennis Federation College Accelerator Program. The program, in partnership with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, offers ITF World Tennis Tour wild cards to players ranked No. 21-30 in the ITA Year-End Singles Rankings. Stephenson concluded the 2026 season at No. 26 in the final ITA Singles Rankings.
