🔼 Preseason Honors. Two football players were named to the 2026 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Team. Senior offensive lineman Lance Heard and junior tight end Willie Rodriguez were selected. Heard earned second team honors and Rodriguez earned third team honors. Heard transferred to Kentucky after two seasons at Tennessee and one season at LSU. Rodriguez started in seven of 12 games played last season, making 23 catches for 310 yards and one touchdown.
🔼 Advancing! LaFamilia is advancing to The Basketball Tournament’s championship game! The Kentucky alumni will host the winner of tonight’s Wichita State Alumni vs. Kansas Alumni matchup on Wednesday. WEAR WHITE!

🔼 That’s Our Coach! Kentucky volleyball head coach Craig Skinner was inducted into the Delaware County Athletics Hall of Fame. He is one of the 11 inductees into the Class of 2026. Since being tabbed Kentucky’s head coach in December 2004, Skinner has guided the Kentucky volleyball program into national prominence and is the program’s all-time winningest head coach. He will enter his 22nd season in 2026 with an all-time record of 497-157.
