🔼 Part 2. Women’s soccer player Kyla Dawn was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week. She recorded a hat trick against Wright State on Sunday in just 16 minutes of play. In that game, she tallied six points total. Dawn leads the squad in overall points (16), goals (7), assists (2), shots on goal (10), and shots on goal percentage (71.4%), ranking among the best in the country through five games.

🔼 Wrapped Up. The men’s golf team finished competition at the Visit Knox Collegiate. Kentucky finished in 15th place overall with a score of 852 (+12). Cole Stockard led the team, finishing tied for 13th place individually. He had a final score of 207 (-3). Gabriel Hull and Gavin Clutts tied for 52nd with scores of 214 (+4).

🔼 One of Three. Freshman wide receiver Kenny Darby was named to the 247 Sports Preseason True Freshman All-American Team. He is one of three receivers on the list. Darby was rated the No. 7 player from the state of Louisiana and the No. 28 national wideout by Rivals. He caught 83 passes for 1,124 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed for 609 yards on 49 carries and added nine touchdowns on the ground.
