🔼 Day 2. The track and field team had another impressive day at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Collins Kiprop Kipngok advanced to the men’s steeplechase final. Emmi Scales ran the second fastest qualifying time in the 100m hurdles to advance to the finals. Janet Jepkemboi Amimo is moving on to the NCAA women's 800m. Vanice Kerubo Nyagisera will compete in the 400m hurdles final. The 4×400m squad secured the final qualifying spot.

🔼 Two New Cats. The women’s basketball team signed two new players to the 2026-27 roster. Jemma Amoore is a 5’4” incoming junior guard. In her first two seasons of collegiate basketball, she has played in 48 games and made two starts, totaling 57 points, 33 rebounds, 17 steals and 12 assists. She is the younger sister of Kentucky alumna Georgia Amoore. Me’Arah O’Neal is a 6’4” incoming junior forward. She played at Florida for two seasons. In 68 games and 41 starts, she combined for 615 points, 347 rebounds, 67 blocks, 59 steals and 54 assists. O’Neal was named the SEC co-Player of the Week on Dec. 30, 2025.
