🔼 Tickets Please. The men’s track and field team had a successful first day at the NCAA East First Rounds. Senior Keaton Daniel tied for the win in pole vault, clearing 17’9.25.” This is the third time Daniel has qualified for the championship meet. Dalton Shepler finished in 11th in pole vault, clearing a personal best of 17’5.50.” Daniel and Shepler punched their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Alexander Chukwukelu, Kennedy Lightner and Clinton Muunga all qualified for Friday’s quarterfinals.

🔼 Votes are In. The 2024-25 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has its officers selected. Tallulah Miller will be the president, Ella Emmert as vice president, Aisling Frost as secretary and Jordan Dingle as the historian. The organization seeks to ensure UK Athletics provides student-athletes with a quality environment and the essentials to be competitive as a person and team.

D Up. The NBA named former Kentucky men’s basketball players Bam Adebayo and Anthony Davis to the All-Defense First Team. This is Adebayo’s first time being named to the First Team and Davis’ third time. Adebayo averaged a career-high 10.4 rebounds and had 81 steals and 66 blocks in 71 games played. Davis ranked third in the league in total rebounds per game (12.6) and second in defensive rebounds per game (9.5).
