🔼 Duo Threat. The women’s basketball team had two players named to preseason honors. Clara Strack and Teonni Key were chosen to the Preseason All-SEC Second Team. The duo was responsible for the bulk of the program’s blocks last season. The Cats led the nation in blocks with 7.0 per game and set a school record of 218.

🔼 Upset! The No. 25 men’s soccer team upset No. 20 Georgia Southern 2-1 on Wednesday night. Kevin Larsson scored both goals for the Cats. Overall, Kentucky had 12 shots, and five were on goal. Goalkeeper Sebastian Conlon had four saves.

🔼 First Meet. The swim and dive team competed against No. 2/7 Indiana to open the season. The women and men fought hard, but both fell short. The women had 112.50 points. The men had 101 points. See each event result here.
