🔼 Anotha’ Dub. The No. 25 football team beat No. 10 LSU in overtime on Saturday 35-34. CJ Baxter (2), Kenny Minchey and Brock Coffman each scored. Coffman scored on a 55yd punt return. The score was tied 27-27 going into overtime. LSU scored first, then Baxter scored and touchdown and Minchey completed the 2-point conversion to secure the win.
🔼 Ranked Dub! The women’s soccer team beat No. 25 Texas 3-2 on Friday. In the 89th minute, freshman Kyla Dawn pushed Kentucky ahead with an unassisted strike into the bottom of the net. The goal marked Dawn’s 10th of her debut season, tying her for fourth all-time at Kentucky for goals in a single season by a freshman. She now also has four game-winning goals, tying her for the most game-winning goals by a freshman in program history. Elsie Ernest and Rayna Powers each scored as well.
Home Opener. The rifle team won its home opener against Murray State 4724-4702 on Saturday.

🔼 Weekend Wins. The No. 4 volleyball team started its weekend with a 3-0 win against LSU on Friday. Lizzie Carr recorded her 200th-career block on a night where she recorded a season-high eight blocks. Brooklyn DeLeye led the team with 16 kills and Morgan Gaerte followed with 15. Kentucky picked up another win on Sunday against Ole Miss, winning 3-1. Kassie O’Brien had 43 assists, leading the offense to record a .302 hitting percentage. DeLeye again led the team, this time with 14 kills. Gaerte had 13 kills, and Carr had 11.
