🔼 Fantastic Four. The football team had four players earn Preseason All-Southeastern Conference honors from Phil Steele: Coleton Price, Willie Rodriguez, Ty Bryant and Lance Heard. Price and Rodriguez were named to the Second Team, while Bryant and Heard received Third Team honors. Price transferred to Kentucky after three seasons at Baylor. Rodriguez started in seven games as a sophomore with 23 catches for 310 yards. Bryant started in all 12 games and led the team with 76 tackles and four interceptions. Heard transferred to UK from Tennessee and LSU.
