🔼 Huge Win. The No. 20/24 women’s basketball team beat Monmouth 104-46 on Thursday. Lexie Blue led the team with 18 points. Amelia Hassett was right behind with 17 points. Jordan Obi led the team with eight rebounds. Kentucky shot 58.2% from the field and 47.2% from behind the arc.

🔼 Match Won. The No. 3 volleyball team beat Missouri 3-1, putting them at 7-0 on the road in SEC play this season and 12-0 in conference play overall. Kentucky is now in first place in the SEC. Eva Hudson led the team with 21 kills, and Brooklyn DeLeye had 20. Hudson also had 11 digs.

🔼 Program Record. The swim and dive team faced No. 7/12 Louisville on Thursday. Freshman Falemana Tuufui set a school record in the 50 free, making him the fastest Wildcat in school history in just his third collegiate dual meet. The men fell to the Cardinals 209-91, while the women fell 218-82.

Anotha’ Watch List. Men’s basketball player Otega Oweh was named to another preseason watch list.

Oweh is one of ## candidates on the 2025 Oscar Robertson Trophy watch list.

Nominated. Outside linebacker Hayden Dawahare has been named a nominee for the 2025 Burlsworth Trophy. The award is for the FBS’s most outstanding player who began his collegiate career as a walk-on. Dawahare has seen action in six games this season. He has logged more than 114 hours of community service as well.
