🔼 Perfection. After a perfect performance on the vault, Makenzie Wilson was named Southeastern Conference Specialist of the Week. The junior earned the first 10.000 ever in Rupp Arena in Central Bank Center since Excite Night began 40 years ago.

🔼 She's Icy. All-time leading goal scorer Jordyn Rhodes just signed a contract with the Icelandic club Tindastóll. The team is a part of the Besta deild kvenna, the top-tier women’s league in Iceland featuring 10 clubs. Rhodes scored 45 career goals at UK, which is the most of any women’s soccer player at the University all-time.

🔼 One Shot Away. The men’s basketball team faced Florida on Wednesday night and fell by just one three-pointer, 94-91. Reed Sheppard had 24 points, and Rob Dillingham had 20.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Named to the Best. Men’s basketball guard Antonio Reeves was selected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Top 10 list for the 2024 Jerry West Award. Reeves is leading the team with 19.5 points per game, shooting 50.2% from the field, 43.1% from the arc and 87.3% from the charity stripe. Those are all career bests for the fifth year. Reeves is the only player from the SEC to appear on the top 10 list for the nation’s best shooting guard.

Reeves was also named to the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 Watch List. The award recognizes the most outstanding player in men’s and women’s college basketball.
