Good morning. We’ve got a huge game tonight as the men’s basketball team takes on Louisville. Reed Sheppard has watched the game growing up and is excited to now play in the game himself. Who’s hyped?!?!

What else are we mixing into today’s Brew?

🏈 Seven athletes earn awards
🏈 National Signing Day
🔵 And much, much more!

🔼 Skilled Seven. Phil Steele handed out seven honors to Wildcat football players. On the All-SEC list, Barion Brown, Ray Davis and Deone Walker earned First-Team. Maxwell Hairston earned Second-Team on the list, and Marques Cox and D’Eryk Jackson earned Third-Team and Eli Cox was on the Fourth-Team. On the All-America list, Walker earned Fourth Team, and Hairston was an honorable mention.

🔼 New Players. Wednesday was National Signing Day for football, and Mark Stoops has a nice mix of athletes from both high school and the transfer portal. Stoops was looking for a potential quarterback with Devin Leary leaving, and the Cats landed Cutter Boley and Brock Vandagriff.

🔼  Dive Right In. The Cats were victorious at the Auburn Diving Invite, with two athletes making podium finishes. Captain Sam Duncan claimed the top spot in the men’s 1-meter with a final score of 355.95. For the women, Claire McDaniels finished third place in the 1-meter with her season-high score of 287.50. Devynn Bishop had a career-high 258.65 points to put her in third place on the platform podium.
