🔼 Big Win. The No. 22 baseball team beat Western Kentucky 13-9 on Wednesday. Owen Jenkins turned in a career-best four hits to lead a 20-hit attack. The Cats started strong with four runs on seven hits. Ethan Hindle and Jayce Tharnish each homered. Burkley Bounds pitched 2.2 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

🔼 Scholar. Track and field athlete Emmi Scales has been named the 2026 SEC Women’s Indoor Scholar Athlete of the Year. She currently ranks as the NCAA’s No. 1 hurdler in the women’s 60m hurdles event with a time of 7.83. That time is also ranked as the world No. 3 mark for the 2026 season. In the classroom, she had a 3.871 GPA in Fall 2025 and is majoring in criminal justice.
