🔼 Upset! The No. 12 Wildcat baseball team won its series over No. 11 Alabama 6-2, 7-0 and 10-1. Trey Pooser stunned the Crimson Tide as he dealt seven innings and only allowed six hits and two runs in game one.
Dominic Niman threw a complete game shutout on Saturday. That was the third time that’s been done in the Nick Mingione era. He threw 100 pitches, struck out seven and didn’t walk a batter. Ryan Nicholson hit his team-leading fifth and sixth home runs in game three.
🔼 Top-25 Takedown. The men’s tennis team beat No. 19 South Carolina 4-3 in its last road match of the regular season. The Cats won the doubles point for the fifth match in a row and earned singles wins from Joshua Lapadat, Jaden Weekes, and Christophe Clement. The men are now 19-2 overall and 10-0 in conference play.
🔼 Top 20. The men’s golf team competed in the Mason Rudolph Championships, and Jansen Preston got his first collegiate top-20 finish. Preston tied for 19th place with a score of 215. Overall, the team finished in ninth place out of 14 teams.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
Sweep! The stunt team swept its doubleheader this past weekend against Mercyhurst and Ashland. The Cats beat Mercyhurst 23-1 and Ashland 22-5. The team is now 17-6 overall and will compete in the 2024 Division I Stunt National Championships this weekend.
