🔼 Ranked Wins! The baseball team won its series against No. 24 Tennessee. The Cats started with a 9-2 victory on Friday. Ben Cleaver had his best outing of the season, throwing seven innings and striking out four batters. Braxton Van Cleave hit a three-run homer. The men secured the series win on Saturday in an eight inning 12-2 victory. Hudson Brown hit a 411-foot homer. Caeden Cloud hit his second homer in three games. Jaxon Jelkin pitched a complete game and struck out 11 batters. Tennessee won game three of the series 10-9.
Wrapped Up. The men’s tennis team wrapped up it’s season in the First Round of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship. The Cats fell to California 4-3 on Friday.
Despite the result, the Wildcats were still able to make the program’s ## consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and 33rd all-time.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
On Their Toes. The track and field team competed at the Jim Green Invitational this past weekend. On day one, the Cats won eight event and had seven top 10 program marks. Addison Stadsholt and Kate Powers earned wins in the women’s hammer throw. Brock Conrad threw the No. 6 furthest distance in Kentucky history in the men’s hammer throw to win the event. Vanice Kerubo Nyagisera won the women’s 800m and the 400m hurdles. On day two, the Cats tallied seven more event wins, three top 10 program marks and a new NCAA No. 1 time. In the 100m hurdles final, Emmi Scales ran a career-best 12.68 time, the fourth-fastest time in UK history, and the new No. 1 time in the country. The Wildcats swept the 4x100m relays, with both the men’s and women’s teams finishing atop the leaderboard.
