🔼 Sweet Searching. This afternoon in Starkville, the fifth-seeded UK women’s soccer squad is searching for a taste of something sweet.

The ‘Cats are taking on fourth-seeded Notre Dame at 3:30pm for a chance to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2014.

UK advanced to the second round for the first time since 2014 in thrilling fashion, defeating West Virginia, 4-2 in penalty kicks after a 1-1 draw through 110 minutes of play in the first round last weekend.

🔼 Drive For Five. The ninth-ranked ‘Cats return to Rupp Arena tonight in search of a fifth straight win to start the season, playing host to Jackson State.

UK is coming off a dominant 97-68 win over Lipscomb on Tuesday night. Tonight is the second of four straight home games for the ‘Cats.

The College Sports Communicators named six women’s soccer players to the Academic All-District Team— Mia Bookhard, Grace Hoytink, Marz Josephson, Maddie Kemp, Katherine Truitt and Makala Woods.
