🔼 That’s Amoore! Before heading home to exchange gifts, the 16th-ranked UK women’s hoops team dished out 19 gifts to each other on Friday, helping the ‘Cats to a hard-fought 84-76 home win over Belmont.
Georgia Amoore scored 23 points, including 20 in the second half, to lead the way, finishing 8 of 17 from the floor, including 7 of 13 from beyond the arc. She added five assists and three rebounds.
UK, who now sits at 10-1 on the year, had five players in double figures in the game. In addition to Amoore, UK got 16 points and 11 rebounds from Amelia Hassett. Guard Dazia Lawrence added 15 points, five assists and five rebounds, while Clara Strack and Teonni Key each had 12 points.

🔼 Back To Work. It was a tough trip to the Big Apple for the fourth-ranked Kentucky men’s hoops squad, who dropped an 85-65 decision to Ohio State on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
Otega Oweh scored 21 points, while Andrew Carr (12 pts) and Jaxson Robinson (11 pts) both finished in double-figures, but UK couldn’t find a rhythm offensively, shooting 29.8-percent from the field in the contest.

Path To The Pros. One thing is for sure, there’s some white Christmas’ in Logan Dorsey’s future.
The senior forward of the UK men’s soccer team was selected by Minnesota United FC as the 55th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft on Friday night.
A United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men’s All-Southeast Region Second Team member, Sun Belt Conference First Team and Sun Belt All-Conference Tournament honoree, Dorsey was no stranger to national recognition for his efforts on the pitch.
