🔼 Back-To-Back. Former Kentucky men’s basketball guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made history this week, becoming just the 14th player in NBA history to win back-to-back MVP awards! Gilgeous-Alexander earned 83 of the 100 first place votes to win the award handily over the runner up, Denver’s Nikola Jokic.

🔼 Hyped For Hoover. Kentucky baseball kicks off its SEC Tournament run today as the No. 13 seed, with a matchup set against No. 12 seed Vanderbilt today at approximately 2 p.m. ET in Hoover, Ala. If the Wildcats win Tuesday against the Commodores, they will advance to a matchup against No. 5 seed Florida on Wednesday.

🔼 One Round Down. Kentucky men’s golf opened the NCAA Bermuda Run Regional on Monday with a team score of 4-under par, putting the Wildcats in seventh place heading into Day Two. The Cats are just two shots off a logjam of four teams – all tied for third at 6-under par – with two rounds of golf remaining. At the end of 54 holes, the top five teams from the Bermuda Run Regional will advance to the NCAA finals, held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, May 29 – June 3.
