🔼 Staying Undefeated. Kentucky women’s soccer got to 4-0 on the season with a 2-0 win over Detroit Mercy at the Bell on Sunday afternoon. Cat Rapp opened the scoring, burying a goal eight minutes into the game. Skye Leach tallied her first assist as a Wildcat on the goal. In the second half, Anna Sikorski netted her second penalty kick of the season to give Kentucky a 2-0 lead in the 53rd minute.

The squad will welcome Purdue Fort Wayne to Lexington on August 28 at 7:30pm.

🔼 Tune Up. The regular season is officially on deck for Kentucky volleyball after the Wildcats wrapped up a weekend exhibition match against Ohio State on Saturday. Kentucky swept the Buckeyes in three sets before the programs stuck around for a fourth set, and the Wildcats closed out the match 4-0.

Next up? Kentucky will take on Lipscomb and Nebraska in Nashville beginning August 30.

🔼 Bump, Set, Spike. And speaking of volleyball, junior Molly Tuozzo has often let her play on the court speak for itself, but the UK volleyball star has recently found her niche as a vocal leader for her team. The libero says more experience and maturity helped her step into this new role.

🔼 Inaugural Season. Celebrate Mark Pope’s first season at Kentucky men’s basketball with the 2024-25 Kentucky Men’s Basketball Photobook. The photo-rich tribute celebrates the beginning of the Pope era in Lexington, and all proceeds go directly to the UK Markey Cancer Center. More details here.

Save The Dates. UK women’s tennis is gearing up for a busy fall season! Head coach Shelley Jaudon released the team’s fall schedule, and the campaign will get underway in Greenville, S.C. at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic from September 12-14. The Wildcats will play in six tournaments before the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships in late November.
