🔼 The Outlanders. The Football Writers Association of America named Eli Cox and Deone Walker to the 2024 Outland Trophy Watch List. Cox is an interior lineman, and Walker is a defensive lineman. Cox has been at Kentucky since the 2019-2020 season and has played 44 games, where he started in 35. Walker has been a Wildcat since the 2022-23 season and has started in 24 of 26 games played.

Anotha’ One. The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame and Jim Thorpe Association named Maxwell Hairston to the Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Preseason Watch List. The award recognizes the best defensive backs in college football based on performance on the field, athletic ability and character. Hairston is one of 42 players on the watch list.
