🔼 D Up! The Maxwell Football Club named Maxwell Hairston and Deone Walker to the 30th Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List. The award recognizes the best college football defensive player. Hairston totaled five interceptions, including four in SEC play, and ranked fifth in the nation in that category last season. Walker led the Cats in tackles for loss (12.5), quarterback sacks (7.5) and quarterback hurries (8) last season.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

School Record! The Wildcats in the 2024 Paris Olympics broke a school record when it came to medals won. Eleven Wildcats won 13 medals— nine gold, two silver and two bronze. Six medals were won in athletics/track and field, four medaled in basketball, one in volleyball and two in fencing. A school-record total of 24 Kentucky student-athletes competed in the Games overall.
