🔼 Comeback. The softball team had a comeback victory against Murray State on Wednesday. Allie Blum launched a three-RBI double to the wall in left-center on two outs in the top of the sixth inning. This put the Cats ahead to win 4-2. Hailey Nutter struck out the final three batters in the bottom of the seventh inning to seal the deal.

🔼 Non-Conference Finale. The women’s tennis team wrapped up its non-conference schedule with two wins. Kentucky beat Bellarmine University 4-0 in two matches on Wednesday. The Cats are 8-1 overall and on a six-match win streak heading into conference play on Saturday.

🔼 Broken Records. The swim and dive team had a strong day three of the Southeastern Conference Championship. Devin Naoroz finished with a second-best program time in the 100 back. Lysander Osman set the new program record in the 100 back. The two athletes set the first and second best program times twice in a single day after setting the records in the 100 backstroke as well.

🔼 Top 10. The men’s golf team finished in 7th place at the Watersound Invitational. The Cats recorded their fourth-lowest team total dating back to the 2001-02 season at 835. Jacob Settles led the team tied for 7th place individually. Jack Schoenberger tied for 14th.

Double the Honors. Women’s basketball player Clara Strack was named to two honors: 2026 Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Late Season Team and Southeastern Conference Player of the Week. Strack is averaging 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.62 blocks, 1.96 assists and 1.3 steals per game through 27 starts. She also has 13 double-doubles this season, which is ranked 15th nationwide.
