Good morning. Don’t let the Halloween spirit go away quite yet. Some of the teams had practice in their Halloween costumes, and you have to see it. Here’s a look at a couple of teams.

🔼 Killin’ It. The men’s basketball team started its season off with a bang against Kentucky State. The Wildcats won 99-53, and Antonio Reeves shot the game high of 20 points. Justin Edwards and D.J. Wagner both had big turnarounds compared to last week’s game. Edwards finished with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Wagner had 12 points all in the first half.
I had the pleasure of learning more about the @UKFootballFam Club this weekend! A lot of love in this Big Blue Family surrounding the @UKFootball team.

🔼 Family Fun. Another Kentucky football game is right around the corner, and while the focus may be on the athletes, there are people behind the scenes working on extraordinary things. The parents of the football athletes, who call themselves the University of Kentucky Football Family, sold t-shirts to raise money for the 22 Oats Strong Foundation. See what else the family is up to on its Twitter.
🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA
Back for More. The No. 19/25 swim and dive team takes on No. 6/6 Tennessee and No. 3/7 Florida this weekend, and the Wildcats are ready to fight for first. Last season, the three teams competed in the conference championships, and Kentucky fell just four points behind Tennessee, who placed second.
Today’s question— what score did Kentucky have at last season’s conference championships?

🔵 ONE BIG THING
🔼 Godly Goff. Graduate student Alex Goff was on top of the world this fall for men’s golf. He was named the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Week after getting his third second-place finish. Goff has finished top-10 in nine of the last 11 tournaments he’s played in. He also has moved up to ranking No. 20 in the PGA Tour University Rankings.
