🔼 He’s On It. Football player Willie Rodriguez was named to the Hispanic College Football Player of the Year Watch List. The award is given to the nation’s top college football player with Hispanic heritage. It is given by the Hispanic Football Hall of Fame. The Hispanic Football Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Hispanic contributions to the game of football. The tight end started in seven of 12 games played last season, making 23 catches for 310 yards and one touchdown.
🔼 Close Game. The women’s soccer team fell to No. 8/11 Ohio State on Thursday 2-1. Nadia Ramadan scored on a penalty kick for the lone goal of the night. Goalkeeper Megan Holland had four saves.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
🔼 Top 5. The gymnastics team was named a top-five academic team for 2025-26 by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association. This is the first time in program history that Kentucky has secured a top-five academic team honor from the WCGA. Kentucky posted a team GPA of 3.8326 with 17 gymnasts posting over a 3.5 GPA and an incredible nine gymnasts with a perfect 4.0. In all, 89 percent of UK’s 2025-26 roster had a 3.5 GPA or higher.
