Good Morning, Wildcats. The women’s basketball team added a game to the schedule! The Cats will play NC State in the Ally Tipoff at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 8. It is currently the fourth Atlantic Coast Conference opponent on Kentucky’s nonconference schedule in 2026-27.

🔼 High Five! The women’s soccer team recorded its second shutout win of the season on Thursday. The Cats beat Dayton 5-0. Freshman Kyla Dawn scored twice and Sydney Arendarczyk, Juliette Rayo and Kendall Campbell each scored once. Kentucky is now 3-0-0 this season and have outscored their opponents 16-2 through three games.
🔼 Tied Up. The men’s soccer team tied Western Michigan 2-2 in its season opener. Tom Keller and Costa Iliadis each scored. The Cats had a total of 23 shots and nine were on goal. Goalkeeper Benjamin Rasmussen had one save. The men will play their second game of the regular season on Monday against the Louisville Cardinals in the Battle of the Bluegrass.
🔼 Double Threat. The football team had two players named to the 2026 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Team. Offensive lineman Lance Heard earned second-team honors and tight end Willie Rodriguez earned third-team honors. Heard recently played two seasons at Tennessee. Overall, he’s played 25 career games, has made 24 starts and has seen action on more than 1,700 snaps. Rodriguez made 23 catches for 310 yards and one touchdown last season at Kentucky.
Senior Bowl. The football team had multiple players named to the 2027 Senior Bowl Top 300 List. The game is scheduled for January 30, 2027.

🔼 Mark the Calendar! The 2026-27 swim and dive schedule is here! Head coach Bret Lundgaard enters his third season leading the Cats. Kentucky will have an intersquad exhibition, three dual meets against SEC opponents, two invitationals, and more. Both squads will face six opponents during the regular season that finished the 2025-26 season ranked in the top 20.
