📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Never Back Down. The men’s basketball team faced Texas A&M-Commerce and had to fight a little more for this game compared to its season-opener win over New Mexico State. The team was down 19-6, and the men bounced back right away with an 19-5 run to take the lead back and increase it even more to a 38-30 score going into halftime.

The Wildcats didn’t stop there and put up 43 points in the second half to win 81-61. Antonio Reeves led with 21 points, and Tre Mitchell was right behind with 18. In total, five guys scored in the double digits. 📆 aaa

🔼 Polished Floor. The women swept Georgia 3-0 in yesterday’s matchup. Erin Lamb led the Cats with 14 kills, which is a season-high for her. The team collected its sixth top-50 RPI win, with 3,900 wonderful fans in the stadium to cheer the Wildcats on. Kentucky is now one match ahead of No. 9 Arkansas in the SEC and stands 13-1 in the conference.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Guess That Player. One man was just named captain of men’s tennis. This athlete is a fifth-year transfer from Wake Forest. This is his second season with the team. He was named All-SEC Second Team in 2023.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Handful of dubs. The rifle team now has five straight wins after defeating Memphis 4723-4705 this past weekend. The team almost matched its season-high score of 4727 but shot its second-highest just four points below. You’ll never guess who led the team again. Sofia Ceccarello scored 584 in smallbore and 598 in air rifle. Emmie Sellers and Braden Peiser both hit career highs, too.
