🔼 So Fast. The men’s swim and dive team started competition at the NCAA Championships. Senior Levi Sandidge swam for third in the 1650 freestyle. He notched a personal best, program best and the fifth fastest time in event history. Carson Hick and Dziugas Miskinis finished eighth and 19th overall, respectively.
🔼 Close Game. The softball team fell to Louisville 8-7 in nine innings. Karissa Hamilton hit two home runs. Alexa Riddel and Maddy Clark also hit homers. The Cats had 11 hits total. Abby Hammond threw 3.2 innings and struck out three batters.

Academic King. Men’s basketball player Collin Chandler was chosen as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree. He is working toward his degree in business administration with a specialization in finance. Chandler meets the requirements of having at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, being at least a sophomore academically and athletically and having competed in at least 90 percent of the institution’s games or started in at least 66 percent.
