🔼 Conference Begins. The No. 28 men’s tennis team won its first SEC match of the season. The Cats beat No. 26 Mississippi State 4-2 with four singles wins. Matt Rankin clinched the game-winning match.

🔼 New Staff. The football staff welcomes Nate Fuqua as the new defensive analyst. Fuqua recently coached at Cincinnati, Georgia and Wofford. He will work primarily with the outside linebackers.

Among the Best. Women’s basketball head coach Kenny Brooks has been named to the Werner Ladder Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year Watch List. He is one of 15 head coaches named to the watch list. The 10 semifinalists will be announced on March 13.
