🔼 83 Years Later. He’s number one on the field and number one in the record books now. Ray Davis set a single-game record when Kentucky faced Akron, where he had rushing and receiving touchdowns of at least 50 yards. Davis is the first player in program history to do this.

This season, Davis leads the team with 33 rushing attempts with a gain of 240 yards, three touchdowns, and an average of 78.7 yards per game. With receiving, he has the second most yards with 143, two touchdowns, and his longest being 58 yards.

🔼 Crowned Queens. With the women’s basketball season right around the corner, let’s take a look at who’s won Miss Kentucky the past three years. All three women are from Kentucky and are returning to this year’s team. Keep an eye on all of their stats and other accomplishments this season here.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Right on Target. Whether the target is in the air or straight ahead, sophomore Sophia Ceccarello has perfect aim. Ceccarello performed on the international stage at the 2023 ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and competed in the women’s 10-meter air rifle and 50-meter three-positions.

Ceccarello’s seventh-place finish in the air rifle and fifth-place finish in the three positions set her legacy of becoming one of the best female shooters in the world. In air rifle, she scored a 145. In the three positions, she scored 199 in kneeling, 196 in prone, and 194 in standing, for a total of 589.
