Good morning. So many athletes earned medals and top finishes this weekend. To start off, see the five athletes who earned medals at the USAT Indoor Championship.

🔼 Successful Swim. The swim and dive team competed at the Louisville First Chance Meet and had two event wins, four podium finishes and two collegiate bests at Ralph Wright Natatorium. Lily Delong won the Women’s 100 Butterfly, and Paige Housman had the top time in the Women’s 200 Butterfly.

🔼 Always on Top. The men’s basketball team was victorious over Auburn on Saturday night, beating them 70-59. The Cats never trailed and earned 23 points off of 12 Auburn turnovers. Justin Edwards started the game off in a fun way with a dunk. Antonio Reeves led the team with 22 points.

🔼 Took ‘em Down. Baseball faced USC Upstate in its season opener and won all three games of the series. The Cats started with an 11-7 win on Friday, a 3-0 win on Saturday and a 9-3 win on Sunday. Nick Lopez shined in game one with a pair of doubles, and Devin Burkes laid down a strategic bunt and a home run. Dominic Niman had five scoreless innings on Saturday. Freshman shined in game three. Lukas Schramm and Eli Small each got the first home runs of their collegiate careers.

🔼 Halfway There. The men’s golf team finished in eighth place in the Gators Invitational with a total of 855 (+15). Alex Goff hit under par with a 68 (-2) score on Saturday. After three rounds, Goff finished tied for 13th with a 209 (-1) score.

🔼 Snapped! The women’s basketball team was able to flip the switch and beat Florida 81-77. Eniya Russell led with her career-high performance of 24 points. Ajae Petty got her 14th double-double of the season with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Tens Tens Tens. Gymnastics defeated No. 28 BYU 197.775-196.000, and Raena Worley earned herself another 10.000 performance. Worley got her first career 10.000 on the uneven bars and previously had two perfect scores on the floor exercise this season.
