📈 STOCK UP 

🔼 Home Series. The baseball team faced Hofstra in its first home series of the season. The men won 7-5. Luke Lawrence and Cole Hage combined for five hits, including three doubles and a home run. The Cats then won 6-1. Ben Cleaver threw 7.1 innings and struck out three batters. Kentucky finished the series with a 9-1 win. Ethan Hindle hit a grand slam for his first collegiate home run.

🔼 Spring Fling. The softball team competed at the 2025 Hilltoppers Spring Fling. The Cats beat Western Kentucky 7-5. Peyton Plotts went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Kentucky swept Saturday’s games, beating Tennessee Tech 4-3 and Western Kentucky 8-5. The Cats finished the weekend with an 8-0 run-rule win over Evansville. This marked coach Rachel Lawson’s 700th career win.

🔼 Rifle Champs. The rifle team competed in the GARC Championships. On day one, the Cats posted a 2346 score to land in second place. Liz Probst posted Kentucky’s highest smallbore score and went on to win silver in the individual final. On day two, the Cats finished the event in second place. Braden Peiser earned a perfect score in air rifle. The team now prepares for the NCAA Rifle National Championships next weekend.

Champ Stats. The track & field team competed in the SEC Championships. On day one, Carli Makarawu broke the SEC Indoor meet record in the 200m prelims. On day two, Kate Powers won gold for the first time in her career in the weight throw. On the final day, the women finished 11th overall, and the men finished 12th.
