🔼 Amazing Legacy. Mitch Barnhart, whose term as Director of Athletics at the University of Kentucky has been marked with athletic and academic success, will retire as AD in June before taking on a new role with the University. Barnhart will be the first executive-in-residence of the UK Sport and Workforce Initiative. Learn more about Barnhart’s legacy as AD at Kentucky here.
🔼 Run-Rule. The No. 21 baseball team beat Eastern Kentucky 10-0 on Tuesday. Scott Campbell Jr. blasted a grand slam, which was the first home run of his Kentucky career. Tommy Skelding earned the win on the mound after pitching 4.0 innings in relief. He did not allow a run on two hits.

🔼 Round 2. The No. 34 women’s golf team is tied for 14th after round two at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate. Kentucky has a team score of 597 (+29). Karlie Campbell and Anastasia Hekkonen are tied for 28th individually. Raleygh Simpson follows in 56th.
🔼 Road Game. The men’s basketball team fell in its final true road game of the season against Texas A&M. Kentucky fell 96-85 on Tuesday. Otega Oweh led the team with 24 points and a season-high nine rebounds. Mo Dioubate had 19 points in just 22 minutes.

Weekly Honor. Men’s basketball player Malachi Moreno was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week. Moreno averaged 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game against South Carolina and No. 25 Vanderbilt last week. He shot 66.7% from the field and 87.5% from the free-throw line.
