📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Dailing It Up. Well, that’s one heckuva of a way to make a first impression!

With less than 15 minutes remaining in the season opener, freshman Oliver Stavdal blasted a laser into the top left corner of the net to help the Wildcats secure a 3-2 victory over Oral Roberts to kickoff their 2024 campaign.

UK also got goals from Isaiah Chisolm and Logan Dorsey, while Josh Gordon dished out two assists on the night.

🔼 Three Of A Kind. Three games. Eight days. The result is the same.

For the third consecutive game, UK women’s soccer picked up a 2-0 victory, this time, defeating Detroit Mercy at “The Bell” on Thursday night.

The Wildcats got goals from Alexis Tylenda and Michelle Moskau, while the UK defense allowed just one shot all evening.

Kentucky finished the game outshooting the Titans 30-1 with seven shots on goal to Detroit’s one. The biggest statistic of the night is UK’s 16 total corner kicks, a season-high.

🔼 Save the Date(s). Get out your iPhone calendars, folks… we’ve got dates to save!

With 16 home games in the brand new renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum on the docket, the UK women’s hoops squad revealed its full 2024-25 slate this week.

Including in those 16 home games are visits from Louisville, LSU and new conference rival, Texas.

Tip times and TV designations will be announced at a later date.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

When was the last time UK women’s soccer started the season with three consecutive shutouts?

Got a guess?

Check below for the answer!

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Turning Heads. For four seasons, Brenden Bates turned heads with the UK football squad. He earned an undrafted free agent deal with the Chicago Bears and is making the most of it. This week, PFF (Pro Football Focus) released the highest grades for offensive rookies and Mr. Bates finds himself at the top of that list. He’s not the only Wildcat on the chart, as record-setting running back Ray Davis of the Buffalo Bills checks in at No. 6.
