🔼 Spring Fling. Even though it’s fall, we want you to have plans already set for when spring approaches. Kentucky softball games are just one of many sports you can watch, and the softball schedule just dropped. The women will take on conference play with four home series starting on March 8. Be on the lookout for game times by following their schedule here.

🔼 Earn Your Stripes. The women stand undefeated so far this season, and one athlete who is really putting in the work to earn her spot is goalkeeper Marz Josephson. She is a transfer student who played four years at North Carolina and earned the role of full-time starter for the first time in her career here at Kentucky.

Josephson says that being on the field for so long and transferring schools has taught her about mental toughness, learning about the ways of different conferences, and the pressure of being a goalkeeper in general. You can catch Josephson on the field tonight as the women take on South Carolina at 7:30 p.m. Don’t forget to wear blue!

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Keep it Low. The women’s soccer team is not only undefeated, but they also have allowed the fewest number of goals among all teams in the SEC this season.

Today’s question— how many goals has Kentucky allowed?

🔵 ONE BIG THING

National Respect. Not only are we celebrating Karl-Anthony Towns for National Hispanic Heritage Month, but we're also celebrating him for representing his culture on the Dominican Republic national basketball team.

Towns was an All-American and SEC Freshman of the Year in 2014-15 when he was on the Kentucky men’s basketball team. He also helped lead the team in 2015 to the Final Four. Towns was the No. 1 draft pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and received the NBA Community Assist Award in recognition of his support for homeless youth.
