Good Morning, Wildcats. The football team is heading into this weekend’s game against Vanderbilt with two player awards. Cutter Boley was named the SEC Freshman of the Week. Seth McGowan earned honorable mention Player of the Week by the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.

🔼 Conference Honors. The volleyball team had multiple players earn regular-season awards. Eva Hudson was named the SEC Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. Kassie O’Brien earned Freshman of the Year. Head coach Craig Skinner won his seventh SEC Coach of the Year title. Brooklyn DeLeye, Hudson, O’Brien and Molly Tuozzo were named to All-SEC Teams.

Triple Threat. The men’s basketball team has three players on the Los Angeles Athletic Club’s John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 watchlist: Jaland Lowe, Otega Oweh and Jayden Quaintance. Kentucky is just one of four schools with at least three representatives on the list. The award recognizes the most outstanding individual player win men’s and women’s college basketball.
