👟 Five medals
🔵 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

It’s Time. The men’s basketball team took down Alabama with a huge 117-95 win. Freshman Justin Edwards had a knockout game, becoming the fourth player in UK history to attempt at least eight shots in a game without a miss. He scored a career-high 28 points, with four of them being from behind the arc.

🔼 Five Medals! Track and field competed in the SEC Indoor Championships, and three was its lucky number. On day one, the team earned three medals— Charity Hufnagel in the pentathlon, Dennis Ohene-Adu in weight throw and Keaton Daniel in pole vault. On day two, Kennedy Lightner earned a bronze medal, and Luke Brown earned a gold medal in the triple jump.

🔼 Undefeated Weekend. The softball team had FIVE wins this past weekend, winning the USC Upstate Tournament. The team beat Akron 7-3 and 7-5, where Grace Lorsung hit a three-run home run. The Cats beat Monmouth 6-1, and Jaden Vickers threw a complete game. Softball also beat USC Upstate 9-0 in five innings and 11-6. Freshman pitcher Sydney Langdon earned her first career win on the mound in game two, and Erin Coffel hit her 60th-career home run.
