📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Ground Play. The football team beat Eastern Michigan 48-23 on Saturday at home. Seth McGowan carried 18 times for 104 yards and three touchdowns. Willie Rodriguez, Josh Kattus and Jason Patterson also made it to the end zone. Jacob Kauwe connected on two field goals. Cutter Boley went 12 for 21 for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

🔼 Upset! The women’s soccer team upset No. 20 Oklahoma 2-1 at home. Anna Sikorski and Tanner Strickland each scored for the Cats. This marks the team’s first win over a ranked opponent this season. Kentucky outshot the Sooners 9-5. Goalkeeper Khadijah Cisse recorded two saves.

🔼 Ranked Win. The No. 3 volleyball team beat No. 10 SMU 3-1. Molly Tuozzo had 21 digs. Brooklyn DeLeye led the team with 22 kills. Overall, the Cats had a .336 hitting percentage. Kentucky tallied another win on Sunday against Houston. The Cats won 3-0 and had a .257 hitting percentage. DeLeye led again with 15 kills. Kassie O’Brien had seven stuff blocks, helping to hold the Cougars to a .083 hitting percentage.

🔼 Tied Up. The men’s soccer team tied Bowling Green 1-1 on Sunday. The Cats remain unbeaten this season with a 3-0-2 record. The men led with 27 shots, and eight were on goal. Bertil Alban scored, and goalkeeper Sebastian Conlon had three saves.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Starting Today. The men’s golf team begins play at the Bearcat Invitational today.

The Cats will have # golfers compete and one individual golfer.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

Strong Run. The cross country team competed in the Southern Showcase. The team finished third in both the men’s and women’s races. Collins Kiprop Kipngok led the men in the 8k. He finished 10th with a time of 23:44.2. Janet Jepkemboi Amimo finished second in the women’s 5k. Her 16:30.4 time is No. 4 in the program’s all-time record book.
