🔼 Comeback Duo. Football players CJ Baxter and Sam Greene were named 2026 Comeback Players of the Week. Baxter rushed 19 times for 87 yards and two touchdowns against No. 9/8 Texas A&M. He also had a 28-yard reception. He has now surpassed 1,000 career rushing yards with 1,019. Greene had an interception, six tackles, one-half tackle for loss and a fourth-down stop for turnover on downs.
Weekly Honor. Women’s golfer Cathryn Brown was named the SEC Golfer of the Week. She won the individual title, hit a career best 206 (-10) and helped the Cats to their third-best tournament total in program history, 839 (-25).
This marked her # collegiate title, and first 54-hole tournament title.

🔼 Big Impact. Football player Jordan Castell was named the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week. Castell had a career game against the No. 9/8 Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday. He registered a team-high and career-best 13 tackles, a pass breakup and snatched a critical fourth-quarter interception that helped seal the victory. Castell leads the team with 29 tackles through three games. Castell was also named the Senior Bowl Defensive Player of the Week.
