🔼 Defending Duo. Two Kentucky football players were named to the 2024 Bronko Nagurski Trophy Preseason Watch List. Maxwell Hairston and Deone Walker are two of 75 Division I FBS defensive standouts on the list. Hairston totaled five interceptions in 2023, ranking fifth in the nation. Walker led the Cats in tackles for loss (12.5), quarterback sacks (7.5) and quarterback hurries (8).
