🔼 Snack Time. After its fifth consecutive win over No. 9 Louisville, the Kentucky football team was named the Cheez-It National Team of the Week. This is the third time Kentucky has earned this award. The win marked the 20th straight against regular-season nonconference opponents. Head coach Mark Stoops extended the school record for most wins (73) and most wins vs. ranked opponents (13).

🔼 Planting the Seeds. Guess who enters the post-season for the 19th straight time? That’s right, the Kentucky volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Championships as the No. 8 overall seed. Matches begin on Thursday, so get your tickets now! See the schedule below.

Following the team’s last regular season game, five players were named to the All-Southeastern Conference postseason teamEleanor Beavin, Brooklyn DeLeye, Emma Grome, Reagan Rutherford and Azhani Tealer. DeLeye was also named SEC Freshman of the Year along with Molly Tuozzo. Our amazing head coach, Craig Skinner, was honored with SEC Co-Coach of the Year.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Matching the Best. Barion Brown has been on his A-game and tied several school records after this past weekend’s win against Louisville. One record he tied was with Craig Yeast for the most kickoff return touchdowns in a career.

Today’s question— how many kickoff return touchdowns does Brown have?

🔵 ONE BIG THING

BB and J.J. Two of our Kentucky football players earned Weekly Honors after a stellar performance in the team’s win against No.9/10 Louisville. Barion Brown was named SEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, and J.J. Weaver to the Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Weaver had two game-changing fumble recoveries, one that tied the game and the other put the Cats in the lead. Brown has his pedal to the metal as he ran 100 yards for a touchdown off a kick return.
