🔼 Huge Dub. The football team beat South Alabama 45-21 on Saturday. Jason Patterson (3), CJ Baxter, Jovantae Barnes and Shane Carr scored touchdowns. Kenny Minchey went 19-for-25 for 177 yards and one touchdown. The Cats rushed for 390 yards.
🔼 Sweep! The No. 3 volleyball team beat No. 7 Texas 3-0 on Sunday in front of the largest crowd of the season, 6,147. Asia Thigpen led the team with 15 kills. Brooklyn DeLeye added 11 kills. The Cats are now 10-2 overall and 2-0 in SEC play.
🔼 Held ‘Em. The women’s soccer team tied Mississippi State 0-0 on Sunday. The Cats had 13 shots and five shots on goal. Goalkeeper Megan Holland had three saves. Kentucky is now 6-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play.
🔼 Tie Game. The men’s soccer team tied UCF 1-1 on Sunday. The men had seven shots and two shots on goal. Benjamin Rasmussen had three saves. Gustav Renman scored in the second half to tie the game.
Ticket Punched! Men’s tennis player Nicolas Arseneault won a thrilling three-set match against No. 11 Rodrigo Fernandes of Cornell on Friday.
Arseneault is now qualified for which championship?

🔼 Run It. The cross country team competed in the Gans Creek Classic this past weekend. The women placed second in the 6k gold division race. Ann Lemirisho led the women with a third place finish. Doricah Minsari Isoe followed in fourth. The men landed in 12th in the 8k race. Collins Kiprop Kipngok led the men, finishing in seventh place.
