🔼 First Dub! The football team opened its season with a 45-13 win over Youngstown State on Saturday. This marks head coach Will Stein’s first win at UK. CJ Baxter scored two touchdowns and Mikkel Skinner, Willie Rodriguez, Kenny Darby and Prince Jean each scored one. Quarterback Kenny Minchey threw for 301 yards on 18 completions and four touchdowns. Kentucky had 205 rushing yards and 506 total offensive yards.
🔼 Just Short. The women’s soccer team was just one goal short against Bowling Green. The Cats fell 2-1 on Sunday. Kentucky had eight shots. Kyla Dawn scored in the second half. Goalkeeper Megan Holland recorded five saves.
Tie Game. The men’s soccer team tied Evansville 1-1 on Friday.

🔵 ONE BIG THING
🔼 Ranked Win! The No. 3 volleyball team beat No. 13 Penn State 3-1 at Wrigley Field in front of the largest crowd to ever watch a Kentucky volleyball match. This marked the first-ever NCAA volleyball matched played and won in at Wrigley Field. Brooklyn DeLeye led the Cats with 21 kills. Morgan Gaerte followed with 15 kills. UK finished with a season-high 60 kills.
