🔼 Gator(aid). The men’s golf team kicks off its season with new head coach Gator Todd as they play in the Folds of Honor Collegiate. The men are down in Grand Haven, Michigan playing at American Dunes Golf Club for three 18-hole rounds.

The five Cats on the course are Alex Goff, Michael Hake, Jansen Preston, Solomon Petrie, and Campbell Kremer. You can watch the tournament on the Golf Channel today and tomorrow from 4-7 p.m. ET.

🔼 On the Road Again. Wasn’t baseball season just amazing last year? I mean, watching the Wildcats make it all the way to the Super Regionals was one of the best parts of summer. Now, it’s time to do it all over again.

Kentucky baseball will play two exhibition games this fall: Michigan on Oct. 8 and Morehead State on Oct. 29. The game on Sunday, Oct. 29, will be at Kentucky Proud Park, and we’ll update you with dates and times when they’re released.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

First W. It’s three days later, and we still can’t get over football beating Ball State 44-14. The Wildcats scored five touchdowns: three on offense, one special teams, and one on defense.

Golfin’ McGiles. The women’s golf team is getting professional help this season as head coach Golda Borst adds Emilyee McGiles to the coaching staff. McGiles spent two years on professional tours, including the Women's All-Pro Tour and the East Coast Women’s Pro Golf Tour.

In her college years, McGiles scored an average of 77.65 over 103 career rounds and ranks third all-time at Southern Illinois University.
