🔼 Walk-Off Win. The baseball team beat Miami (OH) 4-3. Ethan Hindle hit a walk-off bunt to score Kyuss Gargett. Hindle went 1-2 at the plate, had one run, one RBI, two HBP, 2 SB and the game-winning RBI bunt single. Cole Hentschel earned the win on the mound, striking out four batters.

🔼 Homer Happy. The softball team beat Western Kentucky 9-1 in six innings. Lauryn Borzilleri clubbed two home runs and went 2-for-3 at the plate with a season-high four RBIs. Allie Blum hit a walk-off three-run bomb in the fifth inning to win the game.
🔼 Championships. The women’s golf team has played 36 holes at the Southeastern Conference Championship. Karlie Campbell remains even-to-par and sits in 15th place individually.
🔼 Runner-Up. The men’s golf team finished second at the 2025 Mountaineer Invitational. The team shot 888 (+24). Jack Schoenberger led the Cats, tying for fifth place individually.

Drafted! Women’s basketball point guard Georgia Amoore was the No. 6 pick by the Washington Mystics in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Amoore is the eighth player in program history to be selected in the WNBA Draft and the first since Rhyne Howard in 2022. Amoore concluded her All-American college career with 2,460 points, 869 assists and 408 threes across one season at Kentucky and four seasons at Virginia Tech.
