🔼 Duo Threat. Football players Tavion Gadson and Josaih Hayes have been named to the 2025 Comeback Player of the Year Watch List. The honor recognizes college football student-athletes for overcoming injury, illness, or other circumstances. Gadson missed eight games of 2024 after suffering a knee injury. Hayes missed the first nine games of 2024 after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in his left foot.
🔼 Top Players. Three football players have been named to the 2026 Senior Bowl Top 300 List: Joshua Braun, Ja’Mori Maclin and Kam Olds. The game is scheduled for January 31, 2026, and features college football’s top National Football League Draft prospects who have completed their eligibility.

Golden Athlete. Quarterback Zach Calzada was named to the 2025 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list. The honor recognizes the top senior or upperclassman quarterback who is on track to graduate with their class. Calzada recently played at Incarnate Word for two seasons. In 2024, he threw for 3,791 yards and led the FCS with 35 touchdowns. He led Incarnate Word to an 11-3 record and the final eight of the FCS playoffs.
