Today, we're looking at Devin Leary on the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch List.

🔵 The Official Daily Newsletter For Kentucky Athletics

Good morning. The first week of class is just about over. (Whew!) So, now it’s time to have some fun—and would you look at that? We’ve got volleyball all weekend and a women’s soccer home game on deck.

We love it when a plan comes together.

What else are we mixing into today’s Brew?

🔵 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Golden Goose. In case you lost count (it’d be easy to do) this is Devin Leary's fourth watch list that he has been named to this season. The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award recognizes the top senior or upperclassman quarterback who is set to graduate with their class.

The chosen 48 athletes on the watch list were hand-selected by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Selection Committee along with other prominent people in the college football realm. The winner will be chosen on December 7 at a banquet in Maryland.

🔼 Top Cat. Just because it’s Azhani Tealer’s last season doesn't mean she's slowing down—she continues to grow as an athlete, and head coach Craig Skinner has noticed how her maturity and experience help the team.

This season, she hopes the team dominates road games like they've done in the past seasons, especially only having 10 matches at home due to renovations at Memorial Coliseum.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

Set up records. Azhani Tealer has been named All-SEC all four years of her time at Kentucky and has put up some big stats.

In one standout match, she set a new Kentucky school record for the highest number of block assists in a match.

Today’s question—how many block assists did she have that night?

🔵 ONE TWO BIG THINGS

Double dubs. Kentucky soccer was on a tear last night, with both the men’s and women’s teams putting up victories to build some momentum going into the weekend.

No. 3 Kentucky men’s soccer kicked their season off with a 3-0 victory over Florida Gulf Coast last night at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.

With nearly 1,000 fans in attendance for the season opener, the Cats made sure to make it an exciting match. Three UK newcomers—Aboubacar Camara, Logan Dorsey, and Finn Ballard McBride—scored their first goals as Wildcats while Casper Mols earned his first clean sheet of the season.

Kentucky women’s soccer also put up three points as Jordyn Rhodes continued her torrid start to the year, netting a pair of second half goals to give the Wildcats a victory over Murray State at Cutchin Soccer Field.
