🔼 Helping Out. Men’s golfer Gavin Clutts was selected to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team. Clutts made several trips to Lexington Country Club to play golf with kids, offering instruction and companionship to aspiring young golfers in the area. Clutts also spent time as a mentor with the organization Big Brother Big Sister, which helps create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the promise and power of youth. Additionally, he participated in Operation Christmas Child, preparing food packages for kids.

All-Americans! The stunt team had multiple athletes named College Stunt Coaches Association All-Americans.

🔵 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Hands In. Women’s golfer Raleygh Simpson has been named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team. Simpson has more than 80 hours of community service after two years at Kentucky. She spent time with the Lexington Humane Society, the Kentucky Children’s Hospital and God’s Pantry. With those organizations, she did everything from playing with animals and making sure their living spaces were clean and food and water bowls were full, to hanging out with children and surprising them with gifts, to packing meals for underprivileged families.
