🔼 Four in a Row. Kentucky volleyball is on a roll with four straight wins, and in the recent game against Ole Miss, Brooklyn DeLeye and Emma Grome were the Wildcat duo that helped the team finish with a victory. Volleyball set a season-winning streak after beating Georgia, Alabama, Missouri, and Ole Miss.

DeLeye had 19 kills and was one of four players to have double-digits kills against Ole Miss. Azhani Tealer and Megan Wilson had 13 kills, and Elise Goertzinger had 10. Grome had 53 assists and set a career-high, which you can read about below.

🔼 Oh, My Ulfa! She’s been on fire this whole season, and the spark isn’t going out anytime soon. Ulfa Úlfarsdóttir scored the first goal in the game against Vanderbilt on a penalty shot and hit the back of the net. This makes her three-for-three on PK attempts in her career. Maya Lacognato scored next for her third goal of the season. Marz Josephson was in the net and made two saves for her seventh shutout of the season. The Wildcats beat Vanderbilt 2-0 and take on Mississippi State coming up on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at home.

🤔 BIG BLUE TRIVIA

In the Books. Setter Emma Grome hit a new career high in assists that you will find out about if you scroll down. This season, she has over 40 assists in 10 matches, with her highest being against Alabama.

Career Highs. The Wildcat's third match of conference play was not only exciting because we beat the Missouri Tigers 3-1, but Emma Grome also logged her 3,000th career assist. She is one of eight Kentucky athletes to ever hit that amount.
