Player of the Week

Men’s basketball player Otega Oweh was named the SEC Co-Player of the Week. The Cats picked up their first win over an Associated Press Top-25 opponent. Oweh scored a game-high 20 points against No. 22 St. John’s. Learn more about his performance here.

🔼 Big Night. The men’s basketball team beat Bellarmine 99-85 on Tuesday. Kam Williams hit eight three-pointers on his way to a career-high 26 points. Mo Dioubate tied his season high with 20 points. Otega Oweh flirted with a triple-double. He had 10 points, a career-high 10 assists and a season-high eight rebounds. The Cats shot 58.9% from the field and 53.3% from behind the arc.

Anotha’ Year. The football team will retain Anwar Stewart as the defensive line coach. Stewart enters his seventh season as the defensive line coach at Kentucky. Overall, it will be his ninth season as a coach at Kentucky. Stewart has coached four players who were selected in the NLF Draft: Quinton Bohanna, Phil Hoskins, Joshua Paschal and Deone Walker.
