Big Impact. Men’s basketball assistant coaches Alvin Brooks III and Mikhail McLean were named to the inaugural Roots 66 list. The award recognizes the most elite and impactful up-and-coming coaches, administrators, power brokers and visionaries in the industry. Brooks and McLean helped Mark Pope in his first season as head coach and led the Cats to a 24-12 overall record.
