🔼 Series Dub. For the first time in over 100 years, baseball swept its series at No. 22 Ole Miss. They are the only SEC team to record a sweep on the road in league play so far this season.

In game one, the Cats won 5-3. Johnny Hummel was on the mound with bases loaded and induced a groundball for an easy out. Kentucky became the only team in the conference to score 16 or more runs twice in a league game after a 17-9 win for game two. Nolan McCarthy hit two home runs and drove in a career-best six runs. The Cats won game three 15-1. James McCoy drove in three runs and recorded hits in seven of his final eight at-bats.

🔼 Upset! The softball team had Stephanie Schoonover lead the 6-3 win over No. 13 Alabama on Thursday, and the Cats finished with a series win. The women fell 9-4 in game two but bounced back to win game three 4-3. Rylea Smith hit a walk-off double to secure the win. This is softball’s first SEC series win of the year.

🔼 Traveling Winners. The men’s tennis team was on the road this past weekend and took down No. 49 Arkansas 4-3 and No. 56 Ole Miss 4-2. The men won the doubles point against Arkansas and three singles matches. Jack Loutit clinched the win for the Cats on court five. The Cats won the doubles point against the Rebels, and Loutit, Jaden Weekes and Christophe Clement won in singles.
